Pediatrician Needed for Summer to Fall Start:
The practice currently has an opportunity for a part-time to full-time Pediatrician to join our growing practice in New Braunfels, Texas, located about 30 miles north of San Antonio and 40 miles south of Austin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The area offers the conveniences of living in a big city, while maintaining the advantages of a small town community. The job entails direct patient care to patients from birth to 18 years of age. The practice utilizes an electronic medical record and ePrescribing. We offer a competitive base salary, productivity bonus, and excellent benefits. Quality of life is a priority at the practice with a call schedule of one night every two weeks, newborn rounds scheduled in lieu of clinic time, and Saturday morning hours currently ever six weeks. Inpatient care and NICU babies are managed by hospitalists. A current Texas medical license is required. Candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible. We are looking for experienced Front Office Medical Assistants to join our staff in our busy North East locations.
This position would be responsible for greeting patients on arrival to the clinic, capturing and verifying the completeness and accuracy of the patient's demographics, verifying insurance benefits, scheduling patient appointments, preparing the electronic chart for the patient visit, collecting co-payments, deductibles and patient balances, and helping the patients with follow-up appointments, copies of their medical records and school/work excuses.
The ideal candidate should excel in customer service and interpersonal skills, be proficient in computer programs and applications as well and have previous pediatric experience.
