After Hour Emergencies

IF YOU HAVE A LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY, CALL 9-1-1 OR PROCEED TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM

If you think someone has been poisoned, call the Texas Poison Center Network at 1-800-222-1222 immediately. Do not wait for the victim to look or feel sick. Do not try to treat the victim yourself.

For after-hours instructions on a number of common infant and childhood illnesses, contact the Methodist Hospital Ask-A-Nurse service at 22-NURSE (210-226-8773). If you are instructed to contact your doctor, call our main number (210-494-2223) and follow the prompts to reach the after hours answering service; we have a physician on-call at all times.

Our StoneOak office is open for emergent care on Saturday mornings, by appointment. The scheduling desk opens at 8:00 a.m. When the schedule is full, we advise parents to take advantage of one several urgent care facilities in the area, such as the North Central Urgent Care, who can see your child and be in contact with us.
