Dr. Welty is a board certified Pediatrician and joined our Stone Oak team June 2017. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in May 2005 – B.S Chemistry. She received her medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in May 2009. Dr. Welty completed her Pediatric Internship/Residency from Ft. Sam Houston at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in June 2012. Dr. Welty was stationed at Ft. Bliss, TX working as a pediatrician at William Beaumont Army Medical Center from July 2012 – June 2016. She proudly served the US Army for seven years and separated in June 2016. Since separation Dr. Welty worked as a staff pediatrician at Night Light Pediatric Urgent Care in Houston, TX prior to joining ABCD Pediatrics.
Dr. Welty is married with four children. In her spare time, she enjoys serving at her church and spending time with her family.
