Information About Polio
Polio can cause serious illness in some people. Because of this, we routinely immunize our patients to protect them against Polio infection. Polio vaccines are routinely given at our patient’s 2 month, 4 month, 6month, and 4 year old well visits. The polio vaccine is 99% effective at preventing serious polio illness, and we recommend that all of our patients be fully immunized.
