What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is Finding Nemo.
What is your favorite children's book?
Little Blue Truck. Helping others makes all the difference. I love reading this to my daughter
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toy was a tea set.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My mother, she came to this country with a dream for her children. Her greatest joy was giving us the opportunity for everything and anything which she did.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with my daughter :)
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Tiny humans are the best version of everyone. No matter how sick they want to play and enjoy life. I love knowing that I can impact each child. I also enjoyed the patient to patient whether it is a newborn visit or a patient getting ready for college.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I try my best to be on their level when I walk in the room. Try to make the visit comfortable since they can be scared. I then focus on education so that the family feels equipped and knows when to return to clinic or emergency room.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
Trying to make them comfortable. At times this means doing a majority of the visit in the dark.
