ABCD Pediatrics Management Team
We appreciate the trust you have placed in us to provide your child’s healthcare needs and we are here to help. We will do everything in our power to earn and keep your trust. Healthcare can be very complicated, but by working together as a partnership, together we can provide your child with the best medical care available and give your children the best chance of staying healthy and happy. If you have any questions or issues involving our practice or the care and services your children receive from us, please contact one of our managers for help.
Victoria Waltemath, Practice Administrator. Victoria grew up in New Orleans, and attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and Georgia State University in Atlanta. She was Director of Operations for Classic Properties, a real estate development, construction, sales, leasing and management organization operating in New Orleans and Atlanta until the real estate bust in the late 1980’s. Upon her relocation to San Antonio, she was the executive assistant to the CEO of Builders Square and then Diagnostic Clinic of San Antonio prior to joining ABCD Pediatrics in March 2000. Victoria oversees the business operation and facility management at the practice where her focus is on providing a safe, friendly and efficient environment in which to provide patient services.
Rebecca Hutchison, LVN, Clinical Manager. Becky Joined ABCD Pediatrics in November, 2007 as a Triage Nurse. Becky worked as a Medical Assistant in Family Practice for 11 years. She received her LVN license in 2005 and turned her focus towards Pediatrics. Becky was promoted to Clinical Manager in June, 2010 where she is responsible for the coordination of all clinical services. Becky's Focus is on providing excellent clinical services to our patients in a safe and compassionate environement.
Ida Flores, Front Office Supervisor. Ida joined ABCD Pediatrics in October 2004. She had 9 years of previous front office experience in San Antonio. She was promoted to Front Office Supervisor in October 2007. Ida is responsible for all front office and medical records policies, procedures and personnel at the practice. Her focus is on providing outstanding customer service to both patients and parents.
Erica Hernandez, Assistant Clinical Manager. Erica joined ABCD Pediatrics in September 2006 as a Back Office Medical Assistant. She received her Medical Assisting diploma in Dallas in 2002, and had 3 years of previous experience in Dallas before relocating to San Antonio. Erica was promoted to Back Office Team Leader of our satellite office in October 2007.
Lana Gonzales, Billing Manager. Lana joined ABCD Pediatrics in 2010, with 13 years of previous medical billing experience in a variety of private practice specialties. In addition to her billing and insurance experience, she has extensive expertise with medical billing coding, having taught Medical insurance billing and coding in the past. Her knowledge and expertise will provide ABCD with a valuable and reliable practice resource. Lana and her insurance team will focus on providing patients with all the resources they need to understand their health insurance benefits and to do everything possible to assist them to mitigate their cost of care.
