Dr. Rachel Gravel is a board certified pediatrician. She grew up in San Antonio and attended college at Troy State University, where she played collegiate volleyball and obtained her B.S. with honors. She received her medical degree in 2004 at UT Health Science Center San Antonio and remained in San Antonio for her residency at Brooke Army Medical Center. She served in the United States Army as a Pediatrician for 7 years in Columbus, GA and San Antonio. She was active in the SAMMC Pediatric Residency over the last 2 years on several committees and faculty at UT Health Science Center San Antonio Medical School and Uniformed Services University of the Heath Sciences. Dr. Gravel is dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based care and providing a medical home for families from newborn through adolescence. Dr. Gravel worked for Boerne Pediatrtics since 2016, and we are happy to have her join our team at ABCD Pediatrics.
Boerne is home to Dr. Gravel, her husband Paul, and their 3 daughters. She enjoys being active in her church community, sewing, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
