What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated character is Mickey Mouse.
What is your favorite children's book?
Girafe's cant fly by Giles Andreae. I love this book as it depicts there is no boundary to your abilities or what you can achieve. Whatever you want, you can do it.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Barbies.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My parents because they always believed in me and supported my decisions.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love to read books and novels. I love to go on long road trips. Me and my kids love to visit Doseum and built new things and play. I love to dance as I am a classical Indian Bharatnatyam dancer and love to do Garba - An indian folk dance. I am learning how to fly a helicopter. The best experience of my life was sky diving from 14000 feet above and fly. I gifted myself to view the Northern Lights in Alaska (my bucket list) on my birthday.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I have in pediatrics since 2009 and love caring for kids and addressing concerns of worried and scared parents. I love taking care of skick kids and helping them through their sickness.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I am trained to be a pediatric intensivist and love to care for sick kids.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
Yes I am trained to diagnose and help kids witjspecial needs like cerbral palsy, complicated disease requiring G-tube or VP shunt, syndromic kids, down's syndrome, Autism,ADHD, depression, Anxiety
